CAM Acts on $ 98 Million Embassy Office Parks Deal for Blackstone Group (March ’19) – Legally India

Embassy Office Parks, which recently launched India’s first real estate investment trust (REIT), said on Friday it would raise Rs 3,000 crore through placement-based bond allocation private.

The Blackstone Group entities have invested an amount of approximately INR 680 crore in Embassy Office Ventures Private Limited (EOVPL), which provides consultancy / advisory services and offers to undertake the development of industrial parks and special economic zones. Embassy Property Developments Private Limited (EPDPL) also participated in the funding round and invested around INR 10 crore. The parties have subscribed to compulsory convertible bonds (CCDs).
